It’s one of the highlights of our year to see you at our Live the Word Conference. It’s wonderful to get to spend time with you, eat with you, and pray with you. It’s so amazing to be able to tell you all that God has done through Walk Thru the Bible each year … every year.
This year is unique, to say the least. Our world has seen so much that is heart-wrenching this year because of the pandemic, global economic uncertainty, poverty, church closures and lockdowns and stay-at-home restrictions, societal ills, food insecurity, and more.
For obvious reasons, we are unable to hold our Live the Word Conference event this year. But we are holding a very special, first-ever WTB Global Virtual Summit. We are so excited to, once again, be able to tell you about all the ways God is working around the world and how He’s using Walk Thru the Bible in amazing ways.
We didn’t put a pandemic into our 3-year plan to double our global impact. We didn’t put restrictions and lockdowns into our strategic plan for 2020. We couldn’t have known this was going to happen, but God did.
And He’s still in control.
He has worked in mighty ways during this pandemic through our ministry. Even though our ministry model has always been face-to-face, live-event based, we have made the pivot to more online ministry since the world has been mostly closed. We’ve found new, creative ways to bring the Bible to the world this year, and by His grace, to continue to ignite passion for His Word.
