Having a Right View of God

“One of the most loving things we can do is to help others have a right view of God, to view Him more accurately,” says Phil Tuttle. “I think this was a big part of Jesus’ ministry: ‘If you’ve seen Me, you’ve seen the Father.’ “

In this episode of WALK THRU VOICES, Phil talks about Luke 11, dividing it into 4 sections:

  • “Lord, teach us to pray” (vv. 1-4)
  • The parable of the persistent neighbor (vv. 5-8)
  • The promises related to prayer, or “Ask, Seek, Knock” (vv. 9-10)
  • Viewing God more accurately (vv. 11-13)

“It’s in the big story of Scripture that God’s heart is clearly revealed to us. As we make the investment to get to know Him in His Story, the Bible, it will change the way you approach Him in prayer. And how we approach Him in prayer is everything,” said Phil.
