God’s Word Meets Us in the Real Moments of Marriage

Moments in Marriage with Phil Tuttle

August has been marriage month here at Walk Thru the Bible, and Phil Tuttle has launched a brand-new six-session video series called Moments in Marriage.

Marriage can hold some of life’s greatest joys—and some of its hardest moments. But as Phil explains in the series, the struggles we experience in relationships are not foreign to Scripture. The Bible does more than show us God’s beautiful design for marriage. It also enters the real world of broken communication, wrong assumptions, blame, disappointment, and complicated relationships.

As Phil puts it, God’s Word does not only speak to the ideal. It also “works in the real”—the messy seasons of life when we may wonder whether Scripture still has something to say to us.

From Atlanta to Bolivia: Taking God’s Story Around the World

Walk Thru the Bible training in Bolivia

From Atlanta, our August story travels south to Bolivia, where Walk Thru the Bible instructor Tim Bleiker has been helping students experience Scripture through OT Stories, OT Live, and NT Live.

Walk Thru the Bible training has always been designed to make the story of Scripture memorable, engaging, and experiential. And some of Tim’s students apparently decided the experience needed a little extra intensity. During a review of what they had learned, students held ab planks while working through the biblical material together!

It is a fun moment—but it also captures something important about what happens through Walk Thru the Bible around the world. People are not simply receiving information about Scripture. They are learning it together, remembering it together, and preparing to pass it on.

More Than 8.4 Million People Reached

Stories like these are happening through Walk Thru the Bible teams, instructors, churches, and ministry partners around the world. During our 2026 fiscal year, Walk Thru the Bible resources and teaching reached more than 8.4 million people.

Behind that number are millions of individual stories: a child hearing the Old Testament in a way they can remember, a church discovering the big picture of Scripture together, a teacher becoming equipped to lead others, a marriage encountering biblical wisdom at exactly the right moment, or someone opening God’s Word with new understanding.

Through the daily ministry work of our teams in 140 countries, God has made it possible for Walk Thru the Bible to impact one life for approximately 55 cents.

Millions have been reached, but millions more are waiting. Come join us: Take a Walk… and change the world.
