5 Ways to Shine Your Light and Inspire Others Today
By Dasheek Dennisd
You were never meant to be a hidden masterpiece. Discover how to live as the “city on a hill” God created you to be.
Quick Guide
Why God Calls His People “Light”
In the very first chapter of the Bible, we see God’s heart revealed through His first creative act.
“And God said, ‘Let there be light.’”
— Genesis 1:3
Before the oceans were gathered or the animals were formed, God spoke into the darkness and called light into existence.
Throughout Scripture, light becomes a powerful symbol of His truth, His presence, and His character. And remarkably, Jesus extends that imagery to His followers.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
— Matthew 5:14
Every believer is called to reflect God’s light in everyday life. Here are five practical ways you can begin shining today.
