God's Grand Story – Kids

God's Grand Story is a 6-week churchwide campaign in either the Old or New Testament. It's for adults, young adults/students, and kids.

In just a few short weeks, your children's classes will experience and begin to understand the big picture of the Bible, how God chose to rescue the world, and His deep, deep love for them.

The children's curriculum has everything you need to teach over the six weeks: downloadable Bible story, opening activities, memory verses, guided prayers, reproducible masters, and more. The curriculum is divided into 1st-3rd grades and 4th-5th grades.

God's Grand Story is a whole church project—that means everyone is studying the exact same topic each week, which leads to real community among the congregation, in small groups, and even with families. Children and their parents will be able to talk about what they've learned ... together. It's Deuteronomy 6:7-9 in action: "Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."

And after God's Grand Story, you'll be asking, "What's next?"

Our children's resources include:

  • The Best Story ... Ever! – a family devotional guide (a resource from the God's Grand Story series)
  • OT39 – teaches the big ideas of each book of the Old Testament.
  • NT27 – teaches the big ideas of each book of the New Testament.
  • Kids in the Book Live Event – a companion live event to the adult Walk Thru the Old Testament or Walk Thru the New Testament live events. KIB helps children learn the big picture of the Bible, as well as how to pray, read the Bible effectively, and how to apply biblical principles to their everyday lives.
